Located approximately 4 miles northwest of downtown Williams.

From downtown:

  • Take the I-40 business loop to North Grand Canyon Boulevard 1 mile north
  • Right onto Edison for 1 mile
  • North on Airport Road approximately 1 mile until the underpass for the B.N.S.F. rail way
  • Left, northwest, on the B.N.S.F. road approximately 3½ miles to the southeast corner of the Dirty Smith Inholding.
The inholding is approximately 3 hours from Phoenix via I-17 north to I-40 west. and approximately 35 miles west of Flagstaff where I-17 and I-40 connect. The Williams Airport is approximately 2 miles to the east. The Grand Canyon is approximately 55 miles north of the Property.

Description
The Property is surrounded by Kaibab National Forest on the east, west, south, and State of Arizona land on the north. The B.N.S.F. railway bisects the south end of the property, approximately 5-10% of the inholding lies south of the B.N.S.F. railway which Muleshoe Tank is on. Dirty Smith is a large earthen tank located in the north end of the Property.

Dirty Smith is an outstanding inholding with classic northern Arizona weather and appeal. It is an island surrounded on three sides by National Forest which provides unlimited opportunities for horseback riding and hiking. Typical wildlife on the property consists of Elk, Deer, and Wild Turkey. It is also located in the desirable Bull Elk hunting Unit 10 where some of the largest bulls in America have come from. The Grand Canyon, is a short drive north. It is easily accessible from Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Flagstaff.
