General Description
S Bar V Ranch is located approximately 80 miles south of Tucson.  Access is via US Forest Service Road #58 and is approximately 18 miles southeast of Patagonia.

The Ranch lies in the spectacular San Rafael Valley.  The San Rafael Valley is one of the largest intact short grass prairies in the western United States and is characterized by lush, rolling grasslands.  The Valley is surrounded by the several mountain ranges and is the headwaters of the Santa Cruz River. Several of the neighboring ranches have executed conservation easements which will preserve the open nature of the area.  In addition to its unique natural setting, the Valley was also the site of the historic San Rafael de la Zanja Spanish Land Grant.

The Ranch is serviced by underground electric and telephone. Water is provided by a private well with submersible pump on the property.  Sewer is by septic tank.
