As a fourth generation southeastern Arizona rancher, Walter is intimately familiar with Cochise, Graham and Pima County ranches.  He has been actively selling ranch properties for over 29 years in this area.  Walter also manages several ranches and understands the ins and outs of the livestock business.  He has been associated with Headquarters West, Ltd. Since 1990 and has recently become the Designated Broker for the company.

The Rainbow's End North Ranch is located in southeastern Arizona approximately 90 miles east of Tucson. Access is via State Highway 191 and the property is approximately 32 miles south of Willcox. The Ranch lies in the Sulphur Springs Valley. This valley is known for its exceptional cattle production and mild climate. There is a livestock sale barn in nearby Willcox and large hay production on local farms. This area contains some of the nicest grasslands in southeastern Arizona.


Price Canyon Ranch
Cochise County

The Price Canyon Ranch is located approximately 150 miles southeast of Tucson, Arizona and is approximately the same distance southwest of Las Cruces, New Mexico. Access is via Price Canyon Road, a County maintained dirt road, from US Highway 80. The Ranch lies in the spectacular Chiricahua Mountains of southeastern Arizona. This mountain range is named after the Chiricahua Apache tribe, whose members included Cochise and Geronimo. Price Canyon, which is a large valley on the south side of the Chiricahua Mountains, was a favorite camping spot for the Apaches during the 1800's. The Ranch headquarters was originally homesteaded in 1879 by an Army officer named Price. The Ranch encompasses the entire Price Canyon from valley bottom to mountain top. The natural beauty is awe inspiring and the large diversity of wildlife and vegetation in these mountains creates a wonderful setting for peace and relaxation from today's stressful world.


ZZ Ranch
Cochise County

The ZZ Ranch is located in southeastern Arizona approximately 100 miles east of Tucson. Access is via State Highway 186 and the property is approximately 27 miles southeast of Willcox. Highway 186 provides paved access to the Ranch headquarters. The Ranch lies on the western side of the Chiricahua Mountains. This area has a colorful history. Just to the north lies the famous Apache Pass where early travelers and the Butterfield Overland Mail crossed the mountains. There were several battles fought with Chiricahua Apaches in the Pass. Fort Bowie, an early Army post, was established in the Pass to protect this region and was also the site of Geronimo's final surrender. This area was also the location of one of the earliest ranching operations in southeast Arizona due to its lush grasslands and the nearby Fort Bowie. A short distance to the east of the Ranch lays Chiricahua National Monument. This unique area is known for its scenic beauty with many amazing rock spires and vistas. The adjacent Chiricahua Mountains rise to 9,000 feet and have many diverse forests and secluded canyons to explore.

Cochise County

The 202 Ranch is a large block of private land located along a major transportation route. The property also has very shallow water and the opportunity to develop very productive irrigation wells.
