Identified and secured sites with attributes that offered significant competitive advantages for conventional and renewable power projects including:

Coolidge Generating Station - 575 megawatt simple cycle, natural gas fired power plant, Pinal County, Arizona - Client: TransCanada; Notes: ~ $500 Million project, TransCanada owns and operates the facility, the customer is Salt River Project.

Agua Caliente Solar Project - 290 megawatt thin-film photovoltaic solar power facility, Yuma County, Arizona - Client: NextLight / First Solar; Notes: $1.8 Billion project, the customer is PG&E, First Solar sold the Agua Caliente Solar Project to NRG Energy with MidAmerican Renewables, LLC owning a significant percentage.

Secured a number of photovoltaic solar generation sites capable of 20 megawatts or more which clients used to bid into request for proposals.

Coordinated existing land uses such as farm leases and operations to better enable project initiation and development.

I work closely as needed with a network of highly effective specialists in key functions for large project siting including: attorneys with a long history of success in project permitting, water rights / usage issues and complex land transactions; engineers expert in high voltage interconnection agreements and related transmission issues; individuals and firms with consistently successful in securing necessary permits / entitlements at the federal, state and local levels, including zoning / land use approvals, air quality permits and certificates of environmental compliance.

Other representative projects:

Performed feasibility analyses for rail served sites, including unit train capable properties, served by Union Pacific and Burlington Northern Santa Fe in Arizona - for intended uses that included regional intermodal logistics facilities.

Secured large volume construction aggregate resources and value added product processing sites through acquisition and leases.
